عمان- سقطت قذيفة مصدرها الأراضي السورية في الحي الشرقي بلواء الرمثا شمالي الممكلة، مساء اليوم الاثنين، بحسب شهود عيان أكدوا أنها أحدثت أضرارا، في حين لم توقع أي إصابات.

Facebook Wants to Keep You Virus-Free

Facebook may be a little lax when it comes to privacy, but it seems to be doubling down on security. The site is now directing users who think their computer might be infected with malware to sites where they can get free antivirus software.

The new Malware Checkpoint will send PC-users to sign up for either Microsoft Security Essentials or McAfee Scan and Repair, while those using macs will be sent to the Apple Security Updates site. It's actually the natural extension of an existing scheme, in which Facebook notifies users when the site detects a possible malware infection, then provides the user with free antivirus software to clean up the problem. 1. The McAfee option will download a small program onto your Windows computer to perform a one-time scan of your system for malware. It will not interfere with your existing anti-virus or other security products. After it scans your system, it will give you the option to automatically or manually remove the files it flags as malicious.

2. The Microsoft Security Essentials option is a full anti-virus product. Upon download and install, it will add anti-virus software to your computer that will continue to protect your system with the latest anti-virus signatures from Microsoft.

All in, it's actually a pretty smart idea: any attempt to educate less security-savvy users in how to keep themselves protected online has to be something worth supporting. [CNET]

اقتحام جامعة العلوم والتكنولوجيا وتحطيم مرافق المفاعل النووي

اقتحم عدد من أبناء الرمثا، اليوم، الخميس، جامعة العلوم والتكنولوجيا، احتجاجا على قيام مشروع المفاعل النووي في أراضيهم، بحسب ما ذكره شهود عيان .

وأكد الشهود، أن المقتحمين أحدثوا أضرارا مادية داخل المنطقة التي يتم التجهيز فيها لإنشاء المفاعل، فيما ذكر آخرون أنهم قاموا باقتحام مباني الشركة الكورية التي تعتزم العمل على إنشاء المفاعل.

وأضافوا أنهم حطموا الباب الخارجي وزجاج المباني والاثاث واحرقوا الوثائق، مطالبين برحيل الشركة، وأن قوات الدرك انسحبت بعد وصولها الى الموقع.

ورد شبكة أخبار العرب قبل قليل معلومات حساسة من مصادر خاصة تفيد بدخول عناصر إيرانية من الجانب السوري تلاحق لاجئين فروا تجاه الأردن من خلال منطقة وادي الشلالة.. وأكدت المصادر للشبكة أنه وفي قرابة الساعة العاشرة من ليل الخميس نجحت وحدات من الجيش الأردني بإعتقال مجموعة من الإيرانيين مكونة من ستة أشخاص حاولوا التسلل وراء اللاجئين السوريين الذين وصلوا الأردن مساء الأربعاء.. وقالت المصادر لشبكة أخبار العرب بأن مجموعة الإيرانيين إعتقلوا في مناطق مختلفة من منطقة وادي الشلالة قرب بلدات علعال والذنيبة وعمراوة.. فيما أكدت ذات المصادر أن إكتشاف المجموعة كان بسبب مواجهة عناصرها صعوبة التكلم باللغة العربية مع أفراد الجيش وبدو ثقل ألسنتهم أثناء الحديث الأمر الذي دفع الضباط للتشكك ومن ثم إكتشاف أمرهم.. وبحسب مراسل شبكة أخبار العرب قرب بلدة علعال فإن الجيش الأردني يضرب طوقا كبيرا حول منطقة الوادي تحسبا لوجود عناصر أخرى وخشية من دخول وحدات سورية..
